Regina Police kicked off the long weekend with a cautionary note for local area residents after a disturbing twist to vandalism.
The Regina Police Service was asking drivers, before they were heading out on the road, to do a quick check of the exterior of their vehicle.
There were four instances over the span of two days in the last week where tires on vehicles were compromised while parked in parking lots. In one instance the tire fell off while the vehicle was in motion. No one was injured.
The incidents spanned the city with some in the area of Gordon Road in South Regina as well as on North Albert Street.
