Canora RCMP say they have arrested a Preeceville woman and charged her with attempted murder after a vehicle-pedestrian accident on Highway #49 in Preeceville.
On June 28th, last Wednesday, RCMP allege a woman threatened to injure two other women and then drove towards them hitting one. The victim was taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life threatening. The driver of the vehicle left the scene but was arrested later that evening.
Forty-year-old Crissa Kisser from Preeceville is charged with two counts each of attempted murder, assault with a weapon and uttering threats. She is also facing charges of fail to stop after accident causing bodily harm and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm.
Kisser has been remanded in custody and will next appear in Canora Provincial Court on August 3rd. Preeceville is approximately 100 kilometres northwest of Yorkton.
