Companies can now submit applications for Saskatchewan’s expanded Targeted Mineral Exploration Incentive through the provincial government’s website.
The Minister of Energy and Resources, Jim Reiter, explains that the incentive is a grant for exploration companies that undertake eligible drilling activities.
The program was expanded in this year’s budget particularly for critical minerals. All hard rock exploration projects anywhere in the province are able to apply.
Eligible companies could receive a 25 per cent rebate on drilling costs up to $150,000 and up to $50,000 for uranium drilling.
