RCMP say a collaborative police effort in Lloydminster led to 30 people being arrested, 65 warrants executed, 29 new charges laid and 135 tickets issued during a four-day multiple police unit operation which began July 18th. From two traffic stops and search warrants executed at a home and two vehicles, RCMP list seizing suspected cocaine, meth, fentanyl, unmarked tobacco, over $5,800 cash and a bolt action rifle.
The Lloydminster Crime Reduction Unit led the operation with help from the RCMP General Investigations Section, the Police Dog Unit, Eastern Alberta Crime Reduction Unit, Vermilion Traffic Unit, RCMP Air Services, North Battleford Crime Reduction Team and Llloydminster Bylaw Enforcement, targeting gangs, drugs and repeat offenders.

On July, 19, 2023, RCMP conducted a traffic stop which led to seizure of:
- 120 grams of suspected cocaine
- 12.6 grams of suspected fentanyl
- $600.00 in Canadian currency
The driver of the vehicle, Todd Antonenko, a 37-year-old resident of Waseca, was charged with Possession for the purpose of trafficking x2, Possession of property obtained by crime for the purpose of trafficking under $5,000.
On July 19, 2023, RCMP conducted a traffic stop which led to the seizure of:
Assorted drug paraphernalia, Unmarked tobacco, $2130.00 in Canadian currency
The driver of the vehicle, Scott Lamoureux, a 29-year-old resident of Lloydminster, was charged with Possession of unmarked tobacco, Possession of property obtained by crime for the purpose of trafficking under $5000.
On July, 20, 2023, RCMP located a male at a rural property just north east of Lloydminster. The male was wanted on warrants for multiple violent offences. During the execution of arrest, the male attempted to flee in a vehicle but RCMP were able to contain the vehicle and arrest the male without incident. A search of the vehicle recovered:
- 30.8 grams of suspected methamphetamine
- $2940.00 in Canadian currency
Lance Harper, a 40-year-old resident of Lloydminster, was charged with the with Possession for the purpose of trafficking, Possession of property obtained by crime for the purpose of trafficking under $5,000, Flight from peace officer
The vehicle passenger, Wanita Harper, a 33-year-old resident of Lloydminster, was charged with the with the following offences:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of property obtained by crime for the purpose of trafficking under $5,000
On July, 21, 2023, RCMP executed a search warrant on a residence near 47 Ave and 39 street in Lloydminster. During the search of the residence, RCMP located:
- 2 grams of suspected methamphetamine
- 26 grams of suspected fentanyl
- $220.00 in Canadian currency
- Bolt action rifle
52-year-old David Erick, 32-year-old Melanie Myo and 37-year-old Dorian Taylor, all residents of Lloydminster were charged with Possession for the purpose of trafficking suspected fentanyl
Additionally, Dorian Taylor was charged with Possession for the purpose of trafficking suspected methamphetamine
David Erick, was also charged with the with Possession for the purpose of trafficking suspected fentanyl, Careless storage of a firearm
