Two people have been charged in connection to the Saskatoon Police investigation of the death of 30-year-old Angose Standingwater. Just before 11 in the evening on May 20th Standingwater was killed in the 3000 block of Clarence Avenue South in Stonebridge. Police say he was stabbed and then went into a restaurant to ask for help. Emergency crews tried to save him, but the father of five died at the scene.
The Police Service had released security footage which showed a white Dodge Caravan leaving the parking lot. A 19-year-old man is charged with first degree murder and a 21-year-old woman is charged with accessory after the fact. Both were arrested on Tuesday and appear in court today (Wed).
