The Saskatoon Hilltops continue their 2023 main camp, ahead of starting the Prairie Football Conference season. The Toppers have a single workout scheduled for today at 6:45 p.m. The Toppers will play their lone exhibition game against the Hilltops’ Alumni tomorrow at 7 p.m. All training camp and pre-season activities are being held at the Hilltops clubhouse and practice facility on Kilburn Avenue. The Toppers open the P-F-C regular-season schedule on Sunday, August 13th when they host the Edmonton Wildcats. Kick-off time is 1 p.m. at Saskatoon Minor Football Field.

The 109th Canadian Amateur Women’s Golf Championship continues today and runs through Friday in Halifax. A field of 154 competitors are taking part, including two from Saskatchewan who will make up the province’s entry in the inter-provincial team event. They are Chloe Wills of Kyle and Autumn Neiszner of Regina. The inter-provincial team event is part of the first two days of the championship, a 36-hole portion of the complete 72-hole stroke play competition.
