The Stanley Cup made a stop just south of Saskatoon Thursday at the Glen At Crossmount Event and Wedding Venue.
Les Lazaruk had the honour and privilege to take part in a question and answer session with Vegas Golden Knights’ General Manager Kelly McCrimmon (pictured) in front of about 100 family and friends. McCrimmon’s parents Byron and Faye are residents at the Village at Crossmount. Les asked Kelly what it means to see his name on hockey’s Holy Grail…..
A native of Plenty, Saskatchewan, McCrimmon talked about what it means to his family to have the Cup for a day…..
And, McCrimmon says the work is done for next season to try and defend the N-H-L title…..
It was the third and final day for the Stanley Cup in Saskatchewan as Vegas forward Chandler Stephenson had it at Emma Lake on Tuesday while Golden Knights’ defenceman Brayden McNabb had it Wednesday in his hometown of Davidson.
