An RCMP Police Service Dog led officers to seizing 1.5 kilograms of cocaine, over $11,000, a baton and brass knuckles. On Tuesday, Saskatchewan RCMP Roving Traffic Unit police officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Highway 16 near Maidstone. RCMP police dog, Kilo, was deployed around the exterior and he provided a positive “sit” indication to one of his trained narcotic odours, so the vehicle was searched.
Thirty-four year old Joshua Lawrence Termul of Saskatoon is facing charges that include possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.
