A 32-year-old Saskatoon man is facing 71 charges from a Saskatoon Police investigation into a series of break and enters and thefts to businesses dating back to January. All of the incidents were around 8th Street, Broadway Avenue and Louise Street with electronics, gift cards and several thousand dollars in cash stolen. Investigators say with help from businesses, video surveillance played a crucial role in identifying the suspect, who was arrested July 7th and officers report he had break and enter tools.
The 71 charges include break and enter and theft, possession of break and enter tools, committing an indictable offence by concealing identity and mischief.
