Wainright, Alberta RCMP are asking drivers who may have been hit or who have dash camera footage to contact them, after reports of dangerous driving and ramming vehicles last Sunday afternoon.

Around 2:30 that afternoon, Vermillion RCMP tried to stop a white F-150 truck speeding through Irma, Alberta on Highway 14, but it didn’t stop. Then police began receiving complaints of a driver ramming vehicles along Highway 17 outside of Wainwright. RCMP report that stop sticks were used, but the driver was able to avoid them and ended up across the border in Saskatchewan. Unity RCMP successfully deployed stop sticks and the vehicle entered the ditch. A 39-year-old man was taken into custody.

Bert Tyrell Buckley of Hay River is facing multiple charges including dangerous driving, flight from police, failing to stop after an accident and driving while prohibited.
