Battlefords RCMP are investigating after someone set off bear spray at the fairgrounds on Friday night.

RCMP say a man deployed the bear spray into a crowd around 10:30pm. Three young people received first-aid on the scene, but it is believed there are additional victims who have not spoken to police.

The suspect is described as having long black hair and was wearing brown pants and a black hooded sweater. Investigators want to speak with anyone who was hit by the bear spray or witnessed the incident.
