The Saskatoon Police Service continues to investigate a historical homicide. Today (weds) marks the 19th anniversary of the death of 46-year-old Delbert James Desjarlais.
Police investigators are asking for public assistance to bring closure to Desjarlais’ family. At approximately 9:40 p.m., August 23, 2004, Saskatoon Police were dispatched to a residence in the 800 block of Avenue F North after it was reported a person had been located deceased. An autopsy confirmed that Desjarlais was the victim of a stabbing.
