A missing persons case that became an investigation into the discovery of human remains from the fall of 2020 now has two men arrested and facing charges.
The Prince Albert Police Service’s Criminal Investigation Division arrested 45-year-old Kyle Charles and 28-year-old Harley Bear on Wednesday. The two made their first court appearance Thursday in Prince Albert Provincial Court on charges of accessory after the fact to murder in the death of Tristan Chaboyer. He was reported missing on September 10th of 2020 with the then 24-year-old’s remains being discovered in a wooded and rural area to the East of Prince Albert in November of 2020.
Following an examination by police and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, it was determined that Chaboyer’s death was a homicide. The Prince Albert Police Service says the investigation continues.
