The Nutrien Fireworks Festival begins tomorrow (Fri) in the downtown Saskatoon area, but traffic restrictions begin today. As of 5 p.m. today (Thurs) Spadina Crescent will be closed between 3rd Avenue and 20th Street. Public access to the Saskatoon Boat Launch will be closed. This will continue through noon on Sunday.

Then tomorrow, as of 9 a.m. through Sunday at noon, Spadina Crescent will be closed between 2nd and 3rd Avenues, Victoria Bridge between 11th and 19th Streets and Saskatchewan Crescent between 14th Street and McPherson Avenue will also be closed.

Closer to fireworks time Friday and Saturday night, there will be more road restrictions. As of 6:45 p.m. both nights through midnight, Broadway Bridge will be closed between 12th and 20th Streets, along with 19th Street between 3rd and 4th Avenues and Saskatchewan Crescent between 14th Street and Broadway Avenue.
