The Saskatoon Police Service has a few more details about the train and pedestrian collision this morning (Thurs). Around 6 a.m., officers were called to 25th Street and Idylwyld Drive about the accident. A 31-year-old woman was transported to hospital by ambulance with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
There were traffic restrictions in place during the investigation, which have since been lifted. During the morning commute, it became a domino effect as drivers looked for alternate routes, causing tie-ups on all the major routes.
