Two people face multiple charges after being arrested following the execution of search warrants at two separate residences on Mirror Road in Macklin by Unity RCMP last week as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.
Fifty-three-year-old Craig Kostiuk and 36-year-old Janelle McCullough, both from Macklin, appeared in court in Unity Wednesday to face 13 and eight counts, respectively. In one residence, officers seized two long guns and a prohibited magazine. In the other home, two handguns and three long guns were seized. In addition, officers seized suspected cocaine, methamphetamine, psilocybin, unidentified pharmaceutical-style drugs, drug trafficking paraphernalia and cash.
Officers are taking stock of the large amount of drugs seized and determining its value. Unity RCMP continue to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to call them or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
