A vehicle-pedestrian collision on October 1st in Pelican Narrows resulted in the death of a 39-year-old male from the community.  The accident happened around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. Pelican Narrows RCMP say the injured man was transported to hospital where he was later declared deceased. The driver remained at the scene.

A 72-year-old woman from Loon Lake died in a September 27th vehicle-pedestrian collision. The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. last Wednesday on Highway 26 south of Loon Lake. The adult female pedestrian was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.

Both detachments continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
