The Saskatoon RCMP say an investigation that began in July in Regina resulted in the execution of a search warrant at a home in West Kelowna, B.C. on September 30th and the arrest of a 29-year-old man from Regina.

The accused was located in Kelowna and at the time electronic devices were also located and seized for examination. It is believed the suspect initiated communication with a youth victim over Snapchat.  The 29-year-old man is charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, and possession of child pornography.

Police believe there may be additional victims. The accused used three different profile names on Snapchat: Maximum_max11, MaxxyMaxlove,  Stretch_Enjoyer.

Anyone who’s had contact with someone using those names/handles on Snapchat, or other social media/communication platforms are encouraged to contact their local police service and make a report.

No names are being released to protect the youth victim.
