If you have questions or concerns regarding nuclear power and the discussions around small modular reactors in Saskatchewan, SaskPower is is holding a live and interactive call-in event.

It is from 7 to 8 pm tonight and allows people who may not have computers or smart phones to be part of the broader discussion.

There are two ways to participate either online or by calling in and using a pre-set code. SaskPower estimates there are about 30 thousand residents, in the two areas being studied for an SMR development project which is Elbow and Estevan. Those residents received an automated phone call Wednesday afternoon informing them of the event.

Residents potentially impact will also receive a call between 6:50 and 7 p.m. tonight to join the conversation. You can opt out of participating in the call. This is the first time SaskPower has used this type of live interactive call-in event.
