Thursday Prince Albert Police made an arrest in connection to multiple shooting incidents from September.

A 26-year-old man, who has several pending warrants against him, was arrested at house in the 800 block of 14th Street West. He is charged with discharging a firearm with intent, aggravated assault, breach of firearm prohibition, reckless discharge of a firearm and unauthorized possession of a firearm.

On September 13th around 6 a.m. officers responded to a weapons complaint in the 1000 block of River Street West where a victim was taken to Victoria Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

During that week police say Prince Albert had experienced two separate shooting incidents which shared similarities and there is still no word on whether they were related. The September 13th shooting involved two people visiting a home, there was a fight between one of the visitors and the victim who knew each other and during the fight a small caliber gun was fired. The suspects are described as two males on BMX style bicycles.

Prince Albert Police Criminal Investigation Division continues to investigate. The accused is in court Friday.
