After a significant ongoing investigation, a man wanted in connection to a firearm discharge has been arrested by the Saskatchewan RCMP’s Warrant Enforcement and Suppression Team, or WEST.
In early September, Beauval RCMP were alerted that a gun was shot at a woman in a vehicle at 2:30 in the morning. Officers say that suspects fled in a black SUV, and the vehicle was later found at a home on Flying Dust First Nation.
On Wednesday, 23-year-old Cory Lafleur was arrested at a home in Prince Albert. He faces charges of uttering threats, discharging a firearm with intent, and carrying a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
His court appearance is scheduled for October 19th at 10:00 a.m.
