Rush Go Back to Church For One More Season

The Saskatchewan Rush re-signed an experienced star from their championship teams.

Pending N-L-L approval, forward Robert Church signed a one-year deal with Saskatchewan. The superstar sniper from Coquitlam, B-C, has been on three championship teams with the Rush, going into his 10th season. Last year, Church had 51 goals amongst 103 points. Saskatchewan opens training camp November 3 with the regular-season beginning December 1 in Halifax. Following is the news release from the Rush…..

SASKATOON – Robert Church is returning to our province.

On Friday, the Saskatchewan Rush inked the superstar sniper to a one year contract. Pending league approval.

Church led the team with 51 goals and 103 points last season in one of the best statistical campaigns of his career.

Last season in the NLL, only Church, Jeff Teat and Connor Fields had over 50 goals and 50 assists.

The Coquitlam, B.C. product returns for his 10th season in Saskatchewan. He’s won three NLL championships in his career.

Church and company will kick off the 2023 season on December 1st in Halifax.
