A 36-year-old man faces 10 weapons and firearms related charges after he reportedly left a grocery store carrying a firearm Sunday evening.

At 9 p.m. on October 15, Saskatoon Police Service patrol officers arrived at the grocery store in the 400 block of Confederation Drive with store security reporting a man had been seen attempting to conceal a gun and a knife prior to leaving the store.

The suspect was arrested without incident shortly thereafter while walking across Laurier Drive at Confederation Drive. He was found to be carrying an imitation B-B pistol, a baton and two knives – attached to a tactical vest. Saskatoon Police say a small amount of methamphetamine was also found in his possession.
