Moosomin RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect wanted in connection to a gas’n dash in the Virden, Manitoba detachment area. On October 10th, Moosomin RCMP assisted the Manitoba detachment after the theft and located two vehicles speeding on Highway 8 south of Moosomin.
The red Chrysler 300 and the Buick Enclave evaded police when a traffic stop was attempted. The SUV was abandoned in Moosomin and the suspects fled the area in the car. After having the SUV processed by their Forensic Identification Unit, RCMP have charged 36-year-old Tristan Antonio Provinciano from Winnipeg MB, with Possession of Stolen Property over $5000 and Flight from Police. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
RCMP investigation has determined that Tristan Antonio Provinciano may be in possession of a firearm, and he is not to be approached. If you see him or the suspect vehicle, contact your local RCMP or police service or call 911. Tristan is described as being approximately 200 pounds, 6 feet tall with brown hair and brown eyes. The red Chrysler 300 has Manitoba license plate LGR 124.
