Saskatoon’s Meewasin Trail is set to benefit from a significant donation from a local running group.

The Saskatoon Road Runners Association has donated $250,000 towards trail improvements. The amount incorporates proceeds from the Saskatchewan Marathon and brings the total amount of funding from the SRRA to $500,000 in the last few decades.

In the past, SRRA donations have created several meaningful spaces throughout the valley including the seating node at the southern end of the Southwest Trail. There you will also find benches labeled with motivational running quotes, also funded by the SRRA.
