Regina Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle versus pedestrian collision last night near the intersection of 9th Avenue and Albert Street. When they arrived they found a male in his thirties who had been struck by a vehicle. EMS transported the pedestrian to hospital where he is being treated for serious, life-threatening injuries.

In order to preserve evidence, traffic was shut down and members from the Forensic Identification and Traffic Collision units investigated.

The scene has since been cleared.
