A Saskatoon Guns and Gangs Unit investigation has led to numerous firearms-related charges for a 38-year-old man. Last Thursday afternoon, a search warrant was executed in the 200 block of 28th Street West. The Tactical Support Unit called out a number of people and then a suspect was arrested. Police say two sawed-off rifles, a handgun and ammunition were seized.
The 38-year-old is facing 12 firearms-related charges including possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition. He was also wanted on two Canada-wide warrants.
