Lithium interest in the province’s southeast led to over $1.2 million in revenue for the province at this week’s subsurface mineral public offering.
Ten subsurface permit blocks totaling 3,330 hectares were posted and sold.
The highest bid was over $894,000 from Hub City Lithium Corporation for land south of Stoughton, east of Weyburn.
This is the second of three scheduled subsurface mineral public offerings for this fiscal year.
The next one will be in February.
