The Prince Albert Police Criminal Investigation Division continue to investigate the homicide of Lawrence Lavallee. On May 28, 2022, just after 5:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of a man who had been shot. Officers located Lawrence Lavallee in the 100 Block of 8th Street East suffering from serious injuries. Lawrence was transported to the Victoria Hospital by Parkland Ambulance where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police have determined Lawrence left a home in the 1000 Block of 11th Street East just prior to being shot. The suspects fled North on 11th Avenue East in a red CHEV Trax SUV immediately after gun shots were heard by witnesses. The suspect vehicle was recovered by police however no arrests have been made to date.

Investigators are asking the public to contact police with any information about the suspect vehicle, who is responsible or involved in the homicide or if you observed or heard anything suspicious in the area the morning of the incident.
