The Saskatoon Police Service says the investigation at the scene of an accident between a vehicle and a pedestrian this morning (Wed) has concluded, and traffic restrictions are lifted. The accident happened around 11 this morning at 8th Street East and Campbell Avenue.
The pedestrian, a 61-year-old woman, was transported to hospital with what were believed to be life-threatening injuries, but she is now in stable condition and remains in hospital.
Traffic restrictions were in place for about five hours. The Saskatoon Police Service reminds the public of the importance of following police direction and obeying traffic restrictions while investigations are taking place, and thanks drivers who were accommodating of the closures.
