They have been a part of CJWW Secret Santa since the early 80s and today (Fri) is their day to belt out the tunes. The Saskatoon Carolling Firefighters are travelling around the city, visiting businesses, organizations, restaurants and events singing carols and looking for cash donations to help out families in need this Christmas. The Carolling Firefighters also volunteer their off-duty time at hamper night, which is when all the food hampers are organized and this year, they helped to fill 800 hampers in 43 minutes, which may be a hamper night record. Watch for their big red float, and their admittedly sometimes off-tune singing, around the city this morning all the way through to this evening.
