The City of Prince Albert and CUPE 882 employees may have come to a contract agreement, but that doesn’t mean the relationship has gone unscathed.
The City says during the 12 week strike, the public experienced unacceptable behaviour on the picket line and they continue to hear from residents about the union’s conduct.
A news release from the City says in front of the EA Rawlinson Centre for the Arts, access to rehearsals were blocked with videos taken of individuals attending and then, it’s alleged that December 7th, students trying to attend a show had to get out of the bus on a busy street in the freezing rain, and included in the bus were students with special needs.
The City of Prince Albert thanks all of the production contractors, volunteers and performers at the EA Rawlinson Centre for their support, the ongoing support of the arts community, and sports groups and the Raiders who ensured concession services were maintained during Raider games.
