Battlefords RCMP are investigating a robbery that occurred Friday morning.

The call came in at 7 a.m. from the 900 block of 109th Street when an individual in their parked vehicle was approached by a male armed with a machete.

The robber demanded the keys to the vehicle. He was last seen driving southbound on 109th Street. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was able to flee to safety.

The suspect is described as having a thin build and was wearing a mask and possibly a red hoodie. He was last seen driving a black 2019 Jeep Cherokee with Saskatchewan license plate 167 MII.
