Saskatoon Police are investigating a number of stabbings that happened over the weekend. On Friday afternoon around 3:45 p.m., officers responded to an assault in the 600 block of Avenue I South and found a man with stab wounds. He was transported to hospital.
Then on Sunday, Saskatoon Police responded to St. Paul’s Hospital after two people arrived there with stab wounds. In both cases, the victims weren’t cooperative with the police. At 9 p.m. that night, an unconscious man was found outside in the 1700 block of Idylwyld Drive. He too was suffering from a stab wound and was transported by EMS to hospital.
In each incident, the injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
