There has been another ATM theft in Saskatchewan. Shaunavon RCMP responded around midnight on Saturday to a break and enter at a business in that community and determined an ATM was attached to a stolen truck with chains and pulled out of the building by two suspects. One wore all black and the other wore a blue/green plaid jacket with a red hoodie underneath and light-coloured jeans.
RCMP located the stolen truck and the ATM on rural roads west of Shaunavon but all of the cash had been removed from the ATM. Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP or submit an anonymous tip through Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
It was just a few weeks ago on December 17th that Burstall Credit Union had its ATM stolen, using a stolen payloader to do so. There were a rash of thefts in July. On the 6th, an ATM was stolen from a business in Burstall, then on the 15th one was stolen from Eatonia and on the 24th another was stolen from Prud’homme.
