Cheantelle Fisher has been chosen as the Saskatchewan New Democrat Candidate in Moose Jaw North for Next Provincial Election
Fisher was acclaimed by local Saskatchewan New Democrat members yesterday.
During her husband’s career in the Royal Canadian Navy, she worked across the country as a non-profit support worker, community counsellor and labour advocate.
She has since returned home to Saskatchewan to raise her three young children and has worked at the Moose Jaw and District Food Bank.
Saskatchewan NDP Leader Carla Beck says Fisher is community-minded, hard-working and ready to represent Moose Jaw North in the Legislature.
The next scheduled nomination is contested race in Saskatoon Riversdale on Monday, February 26th.
