Two sprinkler lines burst at St. Paul’s Hospital causing temporary flooding in the main entrance and basement ares of the facility. The Saskatchewan Health Authority says there is no impact to Emergency Department access or visitor access. Patient care areas aren’t affected and there is also no impact to drinking water access at the hospital. Navigation through the hospital may be impacted as maintenance staff clean up the areas affected.
In a post on social media recently, the SHA reminds everyone that because of the construction work at the main entrance to St. Paul’s Hospital, all patients and visitors are to instead use the Avenue R entrances. The Emergency Department entrance is for emergencies only.
