The Saskatchewan RCMP says representatives from the RCMP will be testifying at the inquest this week related to the James Smith Cree Nation and Weldon mass casualty homicide.
The RCMP say they welcome this Coroner’s Inquest as well as the one next month into the death of the suspect in the mass stabbing because they are a fact-finding process that allows for full disclosure of the facts.
However, the RCMP also says to respect the integrity of the inquest process they will not provide further comment until the inquests are complete.
