For the first time this year, the Saskatchewan Rush finally hit the field after a bye week and unscheduled bye week due to the cold weather. Coming into tonight’s contest. both teams were looking for their second win of the season with Saskatchewan holding a 1-and-3 recorded and Vancouver having a record of 1-and-4.

The Rush exploded in the second quarter jumping out to a 7-3 lead into halftime thanks to two goals from Mike Messenger and a goal each from Ryan Keenan and Clark Walter.
Vancouver started off hot in the third quarter with a quick power-play goal but Robert Church responded quickly with his own power-play goal and second of the evening. Each team would find the back of the net once more before the end of the third, making it a 9-5 game in favor of the Rush.
Riding a 9-5 lead into the fourth quarter, the Rush tried to cling onto their lead, however Vancouver scored six unanswered goals to grab a 11-9 lead halfway through the quarter. The Warriors would fight off Saskatchewan the rest of the way to a stunning comeback and an 11-9 victory, their second of the season.
