A Melfort, Saskatchewan man has died while skiing on Temple Mountain at Banff National Park.

Friday at 4:35 pm., Lake Louise RCMP received a report of a back country skier that had fallen while climbing Temple Mountain. RCMP state that the man was part of a trio. Parks Canada visitor safety and emergency crews located a 32-year-old man who had fallen off the Aemmer Couloir.

The investigation is ongoing, and foul play is not suspected.
