RCMP have issued warrants for the arrests of two inmates who escaped Sunday night from the Besnard Lake Correctional Camp and are asking the public to come forward with any information as to their whereabouts.
Pinehouse RCMP are actively working to locate 45-year-old Thomas Cook (pictured above) and 30-year-old Kiefler Linklater (pictured below), who walked away from the camp at about 9:10 p.m. on January 28th. Cook is described as about 5’11” tall and weighing 150 pounds with long, black hair and brown eyes while Linklater is said to be about 5’7″ inches tall and weighing 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. They have each been charged with one count of escape unlawful custody and one count of being unlawfully at large. RCMP say it’s unknown if Cook and Linklater are still together as their current location is unknown. They may travel to the communities of La Ronge, Pelican Narrows, Prince Albert or Beauval. The public is asked that if you see either men, or have information as to their whereabouts, you are asked to contact Pinehouse RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
