A rare earths and uranium exploration and mining company has signed a cooperation agreement with Ya’thi Néné Lands and Resources. YNLR works on behalf of Athabasca Basin communities to protect the best interests of the people and the land. A news release from the YNLR says the agreement pertains to specific exploration activities.
President of Appia, Stephen Burega, says they understand and share YNLR’s commitment to protecting and monitoring the environment, engaging in thoughtful project advancement, and respecting local traditions and knowledge. Appia holds surface rights to almost 114,000 hectares, or just under 281,300 acres, in Saskatchewan.
