After a call for proposals, four organizations have been chosen to operate Saskatchewan’s Integrated Youth Services sites, delivering supports for young people between 12 and 25 and their caregivers.
The YWCA Regina and YMCA of Regina in Moose Jaw, and PARTNERS Family Services in Humboldt have been selected by the John Howard Society of Saskatchewan, which is coordinating the IYS sites in partnership with the provincial government.
The fourth organization is Sturgeon Lake First Nation Health Centre, which previously hosted this initiative as part of a national research project.
A news release from the province says services are offered for mental health and addictions, peer supports, physical health, education, employment and training, cultural and traditional supports, and social and community services.
