Saskatoon Police say a woman reported being assaulted and robbed on Wednesday. Officers were called to St. Paul’s Hospital around 6 that evening after a woman had arrived suffering from stab wounds.
She said she had been walking in an alley in the 1500 block of 20th Street West when she was approached by an unknown man who demanded her property. He stabbed her multiple times with a knife before taking off without stealing anything from her. She was treated at the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is believed to be about six feet tall, in his 40’s, slim with brown hair and eyes. Anyone with information or relevant video evidence is asked to contact the police or call Crime Stoppers.
