A man wanted by Loon Lake RCMP is now facing more charges after evading police more than once. On January 9th, officers with the Loon Lake detachment, Police Dog Services and the Warrant Enforcement and Suppression Team attended a home on Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation to arrest the 31-year-old.
RCMP report that when officers approached the home, he fled on a quad. A drone was used to locate him at a second home, and he was told he was under arrest, but he fled again on a quad. The charges for Chrstian Mitsuing now include flight from a peace officer, resisting a peace officer, driving a conveyance.
His previous charges include possession of stolen property, resisting arrest and flight from a peace officer from incidents in the Loon Lake detachment area last year.
He has numerous face tattoos, including two stars above one eyebrow. Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP or submit an anonymous tip through Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
