Three brands of baby walkers are being recalled by the federal government, and the reason why is that baby walkers are prohibited in Canada because if a child weren’t supported by the walker, they wouldn’t be exposed to hazards that normally wouldn’t be accessible to them, including falling down the stairs.
All three were purchased online by Tradeinn Retail Services. The brands are Kikkaboo, Plastimy and Olmitos baby walkers. For any baby walker, Health Canada’s advice is to dispose of it in such a way that it can’t be used again. You could also try returning it to the online retailer (TradeInn.com).
