The Saskatchewan Rush are close to being considered as streaking in the right direction and knocking on the door of being in an N-L-L playoff spot, thanks to back-to-back victories.
Saturday’s 13-9 triumph in Vancouver upped Saskatchewan’s record to 3-4, a half-game behind Panther City for the eighth and final playoff spot with only five of the 15 teams having played half of their 18-game season schedule. The Rush are off until Saturday, February 24th when they welcome the Halifax Thunderbirds to SaskTel Centre. Following is the Saskatchewan news release…..
VANCOUVER, BC – The Saskatchewan Rush dominated the second half at Rogers Arena, leaving Vancouver with a 13-9 win over the Warriors.
Ryan Keenan scored three times and had a six point game, while Clark Walter and Patrick Dodds each had four points in the win.
Saskatchewan now has two straight victories and will welcome Halifax to SaskTel Centre on February 24th.
