The Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital is feeling the love on Valentine’s Day with a donation from Mosaic’s outgoing CEO and President. Joc O’Rourke recently announced a legacy gift of $100,000 for the foundation, commemorating his retirement.
President and CEO of JPCH, Brynn Boback-Lane, says the gift will go towards purchasing urgently needed equipment for pregnant women, moms-to-be and families in the Mosaic Maternal Care Centre at the hospital. She adds that Mosaic Company has committed more than $10 million to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation over the past decade, including support in the initial campaign and then establishing the Mosaic Child Life Program, which provides much-needed supports for Saskatchewan families.
O’Rourke says knowing that Mosaic’s support has helped so many Saskatchewan families has been one of the great honours of my career.
