The Regina Police Service is repeating its request for any information regarding a suspect in a homicide investigation. Thirty-one-year-old Daniel “Juma” Drie Atem is charged with first-degree murder from a homicide on July 29th in the 2100 block of Broad Street. Officers arrived in the early morning hours and found a man injured, who was pronounced dead on the scene by EMS.
Investigators are also now looking for a second man. Twenty-five-year-old Shedrek Samuel is also charged with first degree murder. Anyone with sees them is advised to not make contact, and instead call the police. Samuel is described as having a dark complexion, 5’9″ tall, approximately 150 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. Atem is described as having a dark complexion, thin build, 6’3″ tall, roughly 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
