The Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Canadian Women’s Curling Championship, starts today and runs through Sunday, February 25th in Calgary. A total of 18 teams are taking part…13 provincial or territorial champions plus four wild-card teams and the defending champions as Team Canada. The teams are split into two pools of nine teams each for preliminary round-robin play. Saskatchewan is represented by the Skylar Ackerman foursome from the Saskatoon-Nutana club. They are in Pool A.
